A total of 100 students completed questionnaires to determine their learning styles. ![]() A review of the literature will determine how learning styles affect the teaching process. This study aims to conduct an analysis of learning styles for Economics Education students. The purpose of this study is to increase faculty awareness and understanding of the effect of learning styles on the teaching process. Teachers can incorporate these learning styles in their curriculum activities so that students are able to succeed in their classes. lectures, tutorials, demonstrations and practicals/dissections from the most preferred choice to the least. The students were also asked to rank the various teaching methodologies viz. In order to help students to learn, teachers need to teach as many of these preferences as possible. The VARK questionnaire, version 7.1 was used to categorize the learning preferences/modes as visual (V), auditory (A), read and write (R) and kinaesthetic (K). While students use all of their senses to take the information, they seem to have preferences in how they learn best. Three of the most popular are visual, auditory, and kinesthetic, in way students take the information. One of the most important uses learning styles is that it makes it easy for teachers to incorporate them into their teaching. The difference of both scores was statistically significant based on the t-test value at significant level0.05 inwhich the P-value is lower than the significant level (0.0001 < 0.05). The students’ result of posttest of experimental group was more significantly improved than the students’ result of posttest of control group by the mean score 73.2 > 58.1. The data was collected by using writing test and questionnaire.The findings showed that there was an improvement on the students’ writing ability after the treatment. The sample consisted of 60 students that belonged to two groups: 30 students in the experimental andcontrol group. This research used cluster random sampling. The population of this research was the eleventh grade students of Science Program SMA Negeri 1 Bontomarannu in academic year 2014/2015. While most of us may have some general idea about how we learn best. This research employed quasi experimental design. There are 4 predominant learning styles: Visual, Auditory, Read/Write, and Kinaesthetic. Another approach that supports the use of bodily-kinesthethic and visual-spatial intelligences is Flemings Visual. The objectives of this research were to investigate whether VAK learning style as a technique has significant effects in improving students’ writing ability and the students’ interest in VAK learning style as a technique in studying English writing.
